Every Friday evening, Broadbridge Heath Sports and Social Club is taken over by radio-controlled car enthusiasts. Remote-controlled car racing is enjoying a golden age, with petrol and electric cars raced both indoors and outdoors across the UK. Full story here.
NORMANDY WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
Normandy WI is one of more than a dozen groups in the Horsham District affiliated to the West Sussex Federation of the WI. Post-box toppers have become an integral part of the Normandy WI, with a monthly meetings dedicated to knitting and crochet. Full story here.

BILLINGSHURST DRAMATIC SOCIETY
Billingshurst Dramatic Society staged Beck & Calling in April, telling the story of two local women’s rights campaigners, Ellen and Edith Beck. The two sisters donated The Women’s Hall to the village, which this year is celebrating its centenary. For full story, click here.

Ashington Toy Fair provides an opportunity for dealers to buy and sell toys, as well as giving people of all ages the chance to start their own collection. For full story, click here
BILLINGSHURST ARTISAN MARKET
Billingshurst Artisan Market was launched in October and has proved an immediate success. Held in the Six Bells car park off Mill Lane (opposite the library), the market offers a wide selection of stalls, including a greengrocer, fresh pastries and a vibrant mix of arts and crafts. Full story here.
HORSHAM AIR TRAINING CORPS
1015 (Horsham) is one of over 1,000 squadrons in the Air Training Corps located around the country. It gives young people the opportunity to learn new skills such as fieldcraft and first aid while also helping them to become more confident, disciplined individuals. Click here for now.

MANOR THEATRE GROUP
Founded more than 40 years ago at Manor House in the Causeway, the small amateur dramatics group perform everything from comedy sketches to murder mysteries to adapted plays. After a lengthy lay-off due to COVID, the group returned with a raucous pantomime, Cinderella. Full story here

THE BARNS GREEN PLAYERS
The Barns Green Players has been pivotal to village life for generations. Still as strong as ever, the Players staged their annual pantomime at the village hall in January. As AAH watched the dress rehearsal, director Graeme Muncer, cast members Neale Francis and Juliet Montague, technician Simon Gale, head of wardrobe Felicity Currie and stalwart Pauline Muncer assured us that everything would be alright on the night!.
