August 2016 AAH

The August edition of AAH is here. No doubt it would be hailed by the critics, but they're all on holiday, like everybody else. This month, we visit Parham House and find more varieties of sweet pea than we even knew existed; we meet a man who was only too happy to leave school at the age of 12; we discover that sometimes catching one small trout is enough to earn you a place in the England team; and we learn that hankies are very useful for waving away evil spirits. Oh, and the editor gets all worked up over parking fees as he still thinks it's 1992 and £1.50 is a lot of money. Click on the banner above to read the latest edition of AAH.
